Card data never touches Butler
Payments run on IPS Gateway, built on Stripe Connect. Businesses onboard inside the portal, and card details go straight to the payment platform.
Verified from the first step
Registration confirms the email with a code or a link. A new sign-in becomes the business owner only with that verified email, and staff join through signed, single-use invites.
AI with guardrails
Agents can email only the signed-in person's own verified address. The booking concierge confirms in a second step before it changes a booking, and agent calls are rate-limited.
Reviewed before release
Two independent code reviews, security and then identity, ran in the week before this release, each with written findings and fixes. 1,900+ automated tests run before every build.
Healthcare is handled with care. Clinics and other health providers can run a store and take payments, but their bookings stay closed until our HIPAA and BAA work is done. We follow a documented healthcare compliance baseline for the United States, Canada and our African countries. It is a design baseline, not a certification.
